I have been really impressed with Famous Footwear's rows upon rows of cute shoes. I think I was in for an hour. I attempted on so many pairs of shoes, I lost count. Normally, I hate going shoe shopping (I understand, take away my girl card.) Shoe shopping is actually worse than jean shopping in my opinion. My experience technically happened at this one Famous Footwear location. My story goes:

It's winter months, but I'm searching for sandals because I'm going on the vacation soon to a warm weather spot. The selection isn't huge, but that is to be expected at this time. I do look for a set of sandals that I like, however they have only 4 pair of this specific one, and none in my size. I asked the sales clerk if she could contact any Chicago-area stores to see if they have any pairs of the particular shoe during my size. She offers one better - she can put the order within their computer systems and also have the shoes sent to my home in 5-7 days. "How much is that going to require me to pay?", I ask. "Oh, there's no charge." she replied.

Famous Footwear
. Yes! Free home delivery? Of course! If they do not fit, I will send them back free of charge, too? That, my friends, is known as Customer Service. Well done Famous Footwear. I am going back soon.
